Summary of Mutant X Seasons 1-3 DVD Boxset
The result of secret government genetic engineering experiments, a new generation of mutants (called New Mutants) has been created and are released into the general population. A team of such mutants, who all possess incredible powers, called Mutant X, have made it their mission to seek out and protect their fellow mutants from persecution. Adam Kane (played by John Shea) is the leader of Mutant X and has made it his mission to guide the group and protect New Mutants, since it was his experiments that inadvertently created them. His former partner Mason Eckart wants to exploit the mutants for his own sinister ends, and it is Kane's job to oppose him and help keep the New Mutants free.
