The first season originally aired from Septembers 1-24,s 1-2013, to May 13,s 1-2014, while the second season aired from Septembers 1-23,s 1-2014, to May 12,s 1-2015. A third season premiered on Septembers 1-29,s 1-2015. After initially high ratings but mixed reviews, ratings steadily dropped, while reviews steadily improved, throughout the first season. This led to much lower but more consistent ratings, as well as positive reviews, in the second and third seasons. Several characters created for the series have since been introduced to the comic universe and other media, while a spin-off series, centered on Blood and Palicki's characters Lance Hunter and Bobbi Morse and titled Marvel's Most Wanted, received a pilot order in Augusts 1-2015.
