The fourth season of the CBS crime drama series Hawaii Five-0 premiered on Friday, September 27, 2013. After the cliffhanger ending of the last episode, Steve McGarrett and Wo Fat escape the maximum security prison. Things take a turn for the worst, though, when gunmen invade Five-0 Headquarters with Catherine becoming their hostage. In order to save Catherine's life, Steve breaks the rules, bringing him face-to-face with new SWAT Commander Captain Grover (Chi McBride). The episode ends with Kono and Adam discovering that their secret location in China has been compromised.
